samba - Apr 1999 - Should I start Samba with inetd.conf or just as a daemon?

I'm configuring a samba machine to replace one of our main NT fileservers.
Reliability is critical. Which is the preferred and most stable way to
launch Samba? With an inetd.conf line or at bootup as a daemon?
