I'm experiencing disconnects from my Linux (Slack 3.5, kernel version 2.2.2) to a remote (not on the local LAN) NT Server. Login happens as normal. I mount via: /usr/bin/smbmount //XXX/InetPub -U XXX -c "mount \ /home/demaagd/eagle/" -I X.X.X.X it prompts me as normal for the password. All activities in the mounted dir act as normal. After an indeterminate ammount of inactivity (a couple minutes to half an hour). I get (if I try to run 'ls -la'), I get either 'ls: .: Broken pipe' or 'ls: .: I/O error'. Is there some configuration issue that I am missing, or am I just being dumb? Is this fixed in a later version (I have not had time to try a later version yet)?
