samba - Feb 1999 - smbmount and AIX

Hello
I use samba V2.02 on an AIX R6000 with aix V4.3.x and its works great.
We have WinnT V4 (SP4) servers and workstations too.

Is it possible to mount (like under linux) a SMB filesystem?
I look at the source of smbmount.c and there are includes of linux in it.
Are there any tools to mount under AIX?

smbmount itself is Linux-only. smbclient is the only safe bet, but you
might want to look at smbsh. I do not know whether this works under
AIX. To try, use 'configure --with-smbwrapper'.
