I seem to be having some sort of file locking problems with autocad and samba. I can open large Word files or Excel files very fast, but when I open large autocad files, there is about a 3 to 10 second pause before the files opens. I have an NT server right next to the samba server. It has older/slower hardware and I do not see this on it. The only thing I can think of is it must be something about locking.
