Hello to all. I have installed Samba-1.9.18p4 in a BSDI 2.1, operates enough well but have problems when trying to print in any printer connected to a PC with Win95 or WinNT. :-( Before Actualizar Samba-1.9.17 all worked well, there was config the printers as it indicate the file smbprint and could print perfectly in my Epson printer connected a Win95 and the Okidata printer connected WinNT. After update to Samba-1.9.18p4, upon trying to print me produces the following error in the archivo-log server Dell2, service Epson Added interface ip=200.30.51.193 bcast=200.30.51.207 nmask=255.255.255.240 Got a positive name query response from 200.30.51.197 ( 200.30.51.197 ) Server time is Mon Apr 28 19:01:08 1997 Timezone is UTC-6.0 Session setup failed for username=atoledo myname=FENIX destname=DELL2 ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access denied.) You might find the -U, -W or -n options useful Sometimes you have to use `-n USERNAME' (particularly with OS/2) Some servers also insist on uppercase-only passwords. The box win95 where this connected the printer (Epson) is Dell2, FENIX is the server BSDI 2.1 where runs SAMBA-1.9.18p4. Carry out some tests and could print connected with handly smbclient \\\\Dell2\\Epson -P upon leaving password ENTER presione in the prompt and connects me to the prompt of samba. Gives to it print the name of a file and prints well. if gives it the command: smbclient \\\\Dell2\\Epson -U atoledo -N -P Added interface ip=200.30.51.193 bcast=200.30.51.207 nmask=255.255.255.240 Got a positive name query response from 200.30.51.197 ( 200.30.51.197 ) Server time is Tue Apr 29 14:56:40 1997 Timezone is UTC-6.0 Session setup failed for username=atoledo myname=FENIX destname=DELL2 ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access denied.)
