DEC Alpha, DEC UNIX 4.0, Samba 1.9.17.p4 When I run smbstatus on this machine, I get a list that goes on forever, or until a core dump. Attached at the end is the first 40 or so lines of the smbstatus. Notice the pid (completely bogus), the "^E" and the date (Dec 31, 1969 ???). This machine has been rebooted several times, so samba should have cleared up the status file. What gives? It seems you have mixed different versions of smbd and smbstatus. -- --------------------------------------------------------------- Robert.Dahlem@frankfurt.netsurf.de Radio Bornheim - 2:2461/332@fidonet +49-69-4930830 (ZyX, V34) 2:2461/326@fidonet +49-69-94414444 (ISDN X.75) ---------------------------------------------------------------
