samba - Feb 1998 - who can hack this out?

hi samba hackers,

question: is there a way to modify samba code so that i get this result:
 whenever a client (win95 or nt) writes to a samba share, samba responds to
 the client 'everything is okay', but samba does not make this write
command
 really (instead something like sending the data to /dev/null).

a beer for the hacker who can do this!
