Hi all. I'm trying to set my Linux box, using 1.9.17p1, to be a wins server for my laptop. If I understand correctly, this will elleviate the need for a DNS server for other windows machines on the network. What I don't understand is that no matter what changes I make to either box, the WINS support section of the network config in win95 never 'sticks'. It always goes back to 'disable WINS support' and I can't figure out why.. Any ideas? Thanks, Dave Wreski
