samba - Dec 1997 - changing win95 passwords after linux passwd changed

i didn't see this in any documentation and it just came up as
a possible problem.
  The person logging into the samba server with netlogon (from
a win95 client) changed his password on the samba server.
Windows will validate this password with the samba server, but
then asks for the windows password. Is there a way to keep this
from happening?

I believe the solution to your problem is to turn off password caching in
Windows 95. This should be explained on Microsoft's web site.

You will also need to delete the username.pwl file in the windows
directory.
