at some point in the near future, you should be able to check this using
smbclient (from a shell script in unix, do absolutely truck-loads of 
forks, on multiple machines, and see what happens).

i'm just adding the capability in smbclient to do domain logons to an NT
server.  at present, i've not done testing against an NT server, only
against a Samba 1.9.18alpha4 Server. 

i will be doing preliminary tests on an NT server be done in the next week
or so: anyone else wishing to make such tests, is free to do so.  your
assistance and any feedback on your experiences is not requested, but
would be much appreciated.
