samba - Oct 1997 - samba latest code: snapshot from cvs tree

i have created a directory ftp samba.anu.edu.au:/pub/samba/snapshot.

its contents, currently, are cvs-current.tgz, which i will update as and 
when required (probably daily), for people helping and testing the latest 
code.

this version may or may not have up-to-date documentation, which is why 
it's not being done as an alpha release.  as each stable alpha becomes 
available, a formal release will be done.
