I don't know what causes it. However, one odd observation is that the problem started after I changed by keyboard from a US one to a UK one. When I played around with the keyboard configuration, I found that the problem only happened with the UK keymap (I didn't try anything else). When I switched back to the US keymap, the problem went away! Go figure! - Bob P.S. I'm using the original W95 upgrade; not the OEM2 or anything else 'odd'. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "THE DAY TODAY - Because FACT times IMPORTANCE equals NEWS!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bob "Mince" Franklin ~{] Tel. keyboard unusable after domain logons

We have about 600 PCs running W95, and some of the PCs displayed this behaviour. The problem was cured when we obtained a ompetely clean W95 distribution, with (I suspect) an updated keyboard driver. I know the driver was different, but there was no real indication that the driver had changed, or why. See if your supplier has an updated driver. Derek d.a.clifford@dnb.rws.minvenw.nl
