Sorry if this ends up being an old question, but I can't find an answer. I downloaded kernel version 2.1.49 of linux and in doing the compile, it ran smooth until it got to the smbfs section. The compiler dies ignobly with 3 or four messages in sock.c and inode.c about the file structure not having a member "f_inode". Can anyone a) point me to the right patch, or b) the right include file to look at? Would appreciate the help. Thank you very much. Mike
