samba - Aug 1997 - SAMBA digest 1383

There's a lot of spam getting into the Samba list... I know some lists
require that only members of the list may post to it, but this might
cause too much of a nuisance.  I wonder if there could be a system
where messages coming from somebody not in the list could be filtered
by a person or program?

The list administrator should have a word with Alan Clegg
(abc@firehouse.com) who implemented a subscriber only posting system for
the bsdi list. Stop spam. Dead.
