Rubyinstaller devel - Aug 2009 - unable to load .so files in windows if full path given

Noticed this the other day
require "\\something \\somename"
where \something\somename.so exists
in windows doesn''t load it right.
Just thought I''d point it out in case anyone else runs into it.
