rsync - Sep 2015 - Rsync Daemon & network users

Dear all,

Can someone let me know if it is possible to setup an Rsync server with domain
authenticated users e.g. Active Directory users rather than having
username:passwords in plain text?

You can do that with rsync over ssh but not rsyncd.
