Many years ago, on OSX 10.4 I was faced with the slow update of hte Finder data. I was working on a script that worked in fact, but apparently did not because of the delay. The solution that someone suggested to me was : osascript -e 'tell application "Finder" to update folder (path to home folder)' -- or Mac path to another folder I am not sure this would solve the current problem, but it is worth trying...... -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
