Hi all,
I am regularly backing up files with the --files-from=FILE argument.
After removing one of the paths from the list specified in the filelist,
that directory is no longer considered for the sync, but the directory still
remains on the receiver.
For example:
--files-from=foo
where foo contains:
/home/julian/abc
/home/julian/xyz
If after backing up several times, /home/julian/xyz is removed from the list
in file foo, and it follows that it is not considered for transfer. However,
it remains in existence on the receiver.
Is there any way around this (in a "--delete" type of way) in order to
delete directories no longer specified in the filelist, from the receiver?
Thanks
Julian
