Hi, I have rsync version 2.6.2 protocol version 28 on Linux Sles9 with SP3. My rsync.conf file looks as follows: [upload_rv] comment = Bugs path=/a/upload use chroot = true read only = no write only = true uid = ath gid = users list = true The problem is that "write only" and "read only" don't work. I can read and rsync data from this area with no problem, and this is causing security issues for us. Any ideas ? Upgrade your rsync. Matt
