rsync - Apr 2006 - no differencial backup

Hello,

 

  I have a simple question, but I don't know if somebody can help me.
I'm trying to make differencial backup copies but it only backups
folders, not files. Anybody knows if rsync modifies the archive bit?

Rsync does not know anything about an archive bit since this is not a
POSIX feature.
