Hi,

It'd be kinda cool if on receipt of some obscure signal, rsync could spit
out a
progress update, similar to how it would if it was invoked with such an option.
Similar in behaviour to the way dd does.

Good for long running batch jobs that are logging some output, but not full
progress, to a file.
