hi, i am into a client server programming. in that it is absolutely necessary for the rsync server to be installed at the client and rsync client at the server. The server(rsync client) needs to download from the client(rsync server) and then delete the source file at the rsync server. right now i am doing this as, download the file and rsync back a zero byte file to the source. is there an atomic operation to delete the file at source after client downloads it. thanking you. -- regards, hari
