I'd like to be able to use rsync to copy partition image files (see http://www.partimage.org) to another Linux box. These files are each about 2gb in size, and I would like to only copy the differences. I wondered if rsync's differencing would be able to chop out the differences and splice them into the destination files. Any help greatly appreciated. Bernard
