At one time it worked.. When the system was first put in. I''m running 3
instances of Apache. one for my main site. one for regular home page users and
one for hosted domains. At some point when I upgraded we went from 3 config
files to the combined one config file. (as Apache distrib and redhat SWS3
changed) The setting were all matched over exactly. however I''m not
sure when this stopped working. It''s something I never checked. My
assistant Admin noticed it last week. I''m not sure if it''s an
oversight when we changed over configuration files or what... To the best I can
tell from the config files it should work. but I could be wrong. We have
scratched our heads over this one for days and still no luck.
A lot of things have been added since we had that feature working besides the
change in config files. When I put the 3 file system into the one file system. I
used a stock install config file and just made the changes on it, just to make
sure that (the order of things weren''t out of order)
another possibility I thought of that might be wrong. is some dirs have pub X
and others r and x but after re checking this it seem to make no difference.
could the order of things in the config file be (out of order) ? even though I
used a stock file as a templet?
Thanks Guys
