I too have had a nightmare of a time with support at Red Hat. I''ve
had
Red Hat Professional now for over three weeks and it still is not installed.
I''ve had a service request go in and be completely ignored. Finally
had that
request killed and a new one started where the rep really didn''t know
what was
going on. Had a third request go in and be told that "you''re
pretty much
cooked
for installing." Which is only so great when you''ve just laid out
a large
amount of money for their software. Not to mention that the boot disk that
arrived in the package was corrupt! Supports response? Download it from the
net and remake the disk. Wonderful, but didn''t I PAY you people for a
properly working original copy?? To be fair, three weeks later they have
finally agreed to send me a non-original boot disk and extend my service
period. But here I am still, pretty much cooked for installing....
