What I was asking, to clarify more, is that I bought the Red Hat Deluxe 6.1
package, actually I got it for a gift :). But I would like to have the
secure server, is there any way to get that without buying the Professional
version, or is there an upgrade from Deluxe to Professional?
Thanks

I''m not sure what you mean.
I apologize for the lack of clarity in my previous post. I purchased Red
Hat Professional
6.1 which includes a secure web server (Apache/SSL--the topic of this
list).
The installation manual that came wiith secure web server has warning
notices that
FrontPage extenions will make the secure web server insecure due to the
extentions
requiring the granting of root access.
Is this really true? I don''t see the FrontPage installlation requiring
root access for FrontPage
extenstions to work. Maybe I''m reading it wrong?
Anyone have any definitive info on this?
Thanks,
