After following all of the steps in the install manual up to ''make
testcert''
do the following:
cd /etc/httpd/conf
/usr/sbin/openssl req -new -x509 -key <location of your key> -out
<location
you want the cert>
example: /usr/sbin/openssl req -new -x509 -key ssl.key/server.key -out
ssl.crt/server.crt
Hope that helps.
By the way RedHat, your instructions on the web at
http://www.redhat.com/support/docs/gotchas/6.1/gotchas-6.1-6.html are
missing the ''-x509'' flag.

I''m aware of the VeriSign test certificates. However I want to create
my
own for the time being. I know that this is possible with the openssl
library. I just would like to get some info on setting it up.
Thanks
