I have a site using a Thawte key on a Stronghold server. If I move the
site to a RH Secure Server do I need to get the key reissued?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Strange. Running SecureWeb 2.0 was fine, I even ran Apache with Apache-SSL no problem, using the same certificate I used for those two, SecureWeb 3.1 doesn''t seem to pick up on it. I.e. I start the webserver and it does NOT prompt me for the PEM passphrase (so I double checked the location/file perms/etc, nothing about it in the error logs). It starts the server, listens on port 80 like a champ, listens on port 443, but not able to get anything out of port 443 (I can telnet in however and the error log records my bogus attempts. Any word on this Red Hat people? Do I need a new cert? Did I miss something obvious in my configuration of it perhaps? This is going to make testing it a little difficult =) - -Kurt Seifried, MCSE https://www.seifried.org/ http://securityportal.com/lasg/ http://securityportal.com/closet/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 6.5.1 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBODxi3ob9cm7tpZo3EQLa3gCg1ZxpIgoYeHllYFdwQ+AziGK5wgYAniPo xEqa8ykE4NDim7jWTaLzzpNK =QNwi -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Ok, got it working, finally. The error reporting is broken or something, usually Apache is a lot more helpful (it was failing silently in my case, NOT GOOD). I had one heck of a time getting this to work (ie it took 20 minutes, which to me is a long time if you compare it to the average person =). I want apache to SCREAM abuse at me when it can''t find a file or when I otherwise make a mistake. Any comments redhat? - -Kurt Seifried, MCSE https://www.seifried.org/ http://securityportal.com/lasg/ http://securityportal.com/closet/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 6.5.1 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBODxmKob9cm7tpZo3EQKqaACglGkSQvshXw1PpS2NdBWoxvqPfBUAoOZS e3qzr5yLHOpT10MM+jpjzSSK =Dxvu -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
