Yes and no. I''ve tried it with the version on the cd, and with
the perl-5.005 from contrib. I get the same results either way.
Is there a specific perl that I should be using?

PS. I can''t send mail to any redhat list using Netscape. I have to
use an actual shell account on the machine I subscribed from.

You should be using the one from the CD, or the one from Red Hat 5.2.
Please verify that you don''t have any perl-5.005 "pollution"
still lying
around that could be affecting operation.  It definitely could.
