This is one way of doing it:
Use the Effect object''s cancel() function:
bingo = new Effect.Appear(''menu_inner_holder'');
bingo.cancel();
OR
Use a callback:
bingo = new Effect.Appear(''menu_inner_holder'', {
from:0,
to:1,
beforeUpdate: function(effect){ // this is just one of the many
available callbacks
// effect is the Effect object instance reference
if (effect.currentFrame>=60){ /// or do some checking of your
own
effect.cancel();
}
}
}
);
