Hi all, I have <a id="event_1" href="...">klik here</a> and want to update ''klik here'' via ajax. Many thanks in advance Stijn --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Spinoffs" group. If you wish to change the link from:
<a id="event_1" href="...">klik here</a>
to
<a id="event_1" href="...">changed text</a>
DO:
$(''event_1'').innerHTML="changed text";
But this is just JAVASCRIPT, not Ajax. Ajax is when you request a new
page from JavaScript "behind the scenes" (without refreshing the
current page)
