Hey all... Having some trouble connecting to irc.freenode.net Wondering if there is a subnet ban in place or something... Does someone here run the server? I have international connectivity and am currently connected to undernet so ports should be open. It looks to me like your problem is that you''re attempting to connect to freenode.net rather than irc.freenode.net On 8/11/07, Gareth Evans <agrath-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org> wrote:> > Hey all... > > Having some trouble connecting to irc.freenode.net > > Wondering if there is a subnet ban in place or something... > Does someone here run the server? > > I have international connectivity and am currently connected to undernet > so ports should be open. > > [13:48.36] * Connecting to freenode.net (6667) > [13:48.57] * Unable to connect to server (No Route to Host) > > Gareth > > > >-- Brendan Mulholland --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Spinoffs" group. My apologies, it seems the MIRC IRC handler will by default drop the irc. off the start when you double click a link. I tried irc.freenode.net and it connected on the second retry, just as i hit send on the message. Thanks Brendan.
