Hello,
I''m using this code
var url = ''help.xml'';
var pars = '''';
var myAjax = new Ajax.Request(
url,
{
method: ''get'',
parameters: pars,
asynchronous: false,
contentType: ''application/x-www-form-urlencoded'',
encoding: ''UTF-8'',
requestHeaders: ''*/*'',
onComplete: function(request)
{alert(request.responseText);}
});
This is help.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<help>
<data page="ADM_product">
<option>
<title>Title</title>
<body>à Á ã ü</body>
</option>
</data>
</help>
On IE 7 words with those characters (à Á ã ü) are distorted.
On FireFox this code works fine...
Does anyone know why it happens?
Thanks
Herbert
