HI all, This is maybe off topic here, but you''al are the only group that might know what the problem is. I built a new web site for my Stamp Bulletin ( http://www.WartHogBulletin.de ) on my home machine the menus work fine. They are bright red and when the mouse is on them they turn dark red. BUT after I uploaded the new version to the web site none of the classes in the css file work. For example: <a href="Spring07/index.php" class="menulink">Issue #113 Spring (January - March 2007)</a> This link should be red, but online is bright yellow and the font is way too big. This was the way it was when I started working on it. Can someone give me an idea what could be wrong? I''m at a loss. Yes, you are OT. Particularly so, since your site doesn''t seem to use Prototype or Scriptaculous. It sounds like a CSS problem (probably cascade order)--try a CSS group. http://groups.google.com/groups/dir?&sel=0,16823695&q=CSS&prev=CSS TAG On Apr 12, 2007, at 1:38 AM, James Hatridge wrote:> > HI all, > > This is maybe off topic here, but you''al are the only group that > might know > what the problem is. > > I built a new web site for my Stamp Bulletin ( http:// > www.WartHogBulletin.de ) > on my home machine the menus work fine. On deeper pages, yes you do, but not on the page you linked to (server root). If you''re experiencing the problem on the root page, it''s a pretty good indicator it''s not a Prototype/Saus problem. Also, I am unable to duplicate (Firefox 2; Safari 2/OS X). Perhaps it''s a caching issue? I "thought" that I can cleared it, but I guess not. Oh well, it works fine now. Anyway this is the first web site that I''ve used Prototype and Scriptaculous. Its really nice for my menus. Anyway sorry to bother everyone about that.
