I recently updated to version 1.5_pre4 to use the excellent in-place editor, however, I''m now seeing a bug with AutoCompletion. When text is entered in the text field for auto completion, the auto_complete div is not updated (but the server does receive the request and return a response). Upon removing focus from the text field, 2 instances of the following error can be seen in both FireFox and IE: Element.getStyle is not a function Source File: http://localhost:3000/javascripts/controls.js which refers to show: function() and hide: function() The line from show: function()---- if(Element.getStyle(this.update, ''display'')==''none'') this.options.onShow(this.element, this.update); I looked through all of the scripts and could not find this function. Has anyone else seen this behavior? - Derek -- Derek Haynes HighGroove Studios - http://www.highgroove.com Keeping it Simple. 404.593.4879

See http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/Usage version v1.5_pre1 and later: Put prototype.js, and the five files scriptaculous.js, util.js, effects.js, dragdrop.js and controls.js in a directory of your website, e.g. /javascripts. Now, you can include the scripts by adding the following tags to the HEAD section of your HTML pages: <script src="/javascripts/prototype.js" type="text/javascript"></ script> <script src="/javascripts/scriptaculous.js" type="text/ javascript"></script> scriptaculous.js will automatically load the other files of the script.aculo.us distribution in, provided they are accessible via the same path. Thomas, Thanks for the tip! That does make it simpler to load the required javascript files. - Derek On 9/7/05, Thomas Fuchs <thomas@fesch.at> wrote:> See http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/Usage > > version v1.5_pre1 and later: > Put prototype.js, and the five files > > scriptaculous.js, util.js, effects.js, dragdrop.js and controls.js > > in a directory of your website, e.g. /javascripts.
