Rails core - Nov 2010 - How to transform XML via XSLT before processed by ActiveResource

Hi,

I would like to consume a non-Rails REST API with ActiveResource. How
can I hook a method to pre-process the XML via XSLT before the
ActiveResource gets created?

Any help is highly appreciated.
