Rails core - Oct 2009 - Public API documentation?

I''m starting the planning process for moving the Hobo plugins to 3.0,  
and was wondering what the status / location of the public (or  
extension) API docs was. There''s a little bit on the wiki, but not  
much. Google doesn''t get me much either, just mentions of the idea  
without actual content.

Any info is appreciated, as Hobo is one of the plugins (like RSpec and  
friends) that''s notorious for hacking into the guts of Rails, only to  
be broken on every point release. It''d be great to finally be hooking  
into the "legit" parts...
