Rails core - Jan 2006 - Test Helpers

I wonder if something like this would make a good addition to the core:

Hi John,

I seem to remember seeing a PATCH ticket talking about helpers for
test cases.   However I can''t see anything in the history, so perhaps
I''m making it up.

I can definitely see the use in something like this.  If you whip up a
patch for it,  we''ll see about applying it.
