this is almost always indicative of a ruby and/or libs compiled for a slight
different arch. probably using some sort of package manager (gem, rpm, etc)
could be the cause. if you have not compiled ruby and all modules by hand
look here first. another cause is having two rubys installed and picking up
the wrong one somehow.
