Hi folks, I've created a side tag in rawhide for R 4.2.1 builds. Please keep in mind that because this takes rawhide from R 4.1 to R 4.2, all R packages (and R dependent packages) will need to be rebuilt into this side tag. Once that is done, we can merge the builds from the side tag back into rawhide. Use 'fedpkg build --target=f37-build-side-55653' to use it. Use 'koji wait-repo f37-build-side-55653' to wait for the build repo to be generated. I've built R-4.2.1-1.fc37, rpy-3.5.3-1.fc37, and rkward-0.7.4-1.fc37 into that tag, so please feel free to start rebuilding any R dependent packages that you maintain in that tag. If you need the raw R-4.2.1 packages for local testing, they're here: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=90194354 I plan on starting to work my way through everything in Fedora as time permits, but I'm not sure when exactly that will happen. :( Any help others can provide in rebuilding dependencies is appreciated. :) ~spot [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

[R-sig-Fedora] Rawhide side tag for R 4.2.1 builds
Hi Tom,? thanks for 4.2. I had a problem with 4.1.3 this week :) DEBUG util.py:443:?? Problem: package R-devel-4.1.3-2.fc37.i686 requires R-java-devel = 4.1.3-2.fc37, but none of the providers can be installed DEBUG util.py:443:??? - conflicting requests DEBUG util.py:443:??? - nothing provides java-devel needed by R-java-devel-4.1.3-2.fc37.i686 OTH do we have any update plan for R dependent packages cause I can start right away and work on that all month long.
