Hi all, Three months ago, I wrote to Martyn Plummer (to his Warwick email) and offered my help to maintain and modernize this [1] rather updated README, but received no response. Does anyone know how to reach him, or maybe I should contact CRAN directly? [1] https://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/redhat/README Regards, -- I?aki ?car
Hi I?aki, I don't want to presume to speak for Martyn, but do know from R Foundation interactions, that between his move back to the UK and other things, he has been very busy. I am copying him here, and hopefully as his schedule permits, he can respond. I wrote a brief note about it [1], and the README contains further details [2]. I use it in all my machines and the servers I maintain, and I'm very happy with it. Every day, a GitHub action checks which packages where updated/added/archived on CRAN and triggers the corresponding builds. FYI, the CRAN page has been updated. Now, we have: https://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/fedora https://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/redhat The second one is just a symlink to the first one.
