[R-sig-Debian] R version on upgrading Debian 10 / 11 -> Debian 12
Dear All, I have 2 computers. 1. Debian 10 with R 4.3.1 2. Debian 11 with R 4.3.0 I wish to upgrade both to Debian 12. The latest R I understand is 4.3.1 I am reading: https://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/debian/#debian-bookworm Looks like we only have R 4.3.0 in Debian 12 ( bookworm). When I upgrade Debian 11-> 12 (on the 2nd computer) all should go well and I think I will have R 4 .3.0 What happens when I do Debian 10 -> 11 -> 12 (on the 1st computer). Will I be having 4.3.0 in place of 4.3.1 ? Can someone please clarify. Many thanks, Ashim

Hi, the repo on CRAN where that page comes from actually has R 4.3.1 for Debian 12 (bookworm). I just missed to update that bit of that page, sorry for the confusion caused. The updated text will be online in the course of the day. Cheers, Johannes Am Donnerstag, 28. September 2023, 08:06:11 CEST schrieb Ashim Kapoor:> Dear All, > > I have 2 computers. > > 1.
