R SIG Debian - Feb 2014 - R installation on Ubuntu

When installing R (using apt-get install r-base), I believe it works for
the most part, but at the end of the installation it says:


"Errors were encountered while processing:
 install-info
 doc-base"

Should I be worried about this error?

A shot in the dark (the exact error should be in the output/log
somewhere): one reason this could happen is because you don't have a
TeX distribution installed (or it's not being found). I think
install-info looks for pdflatex.
