[R] [R-pkgs] synr: Analyze stimulus-color consistency test data
Dear fellow useRs, synr is an R package for working with data resulting from so-called consistency tests, aimed at studying associations between stimuli and colors. A simple example of such an association is if someone experiences the color blue when hearing a particular word, or seeing the letter 7 as red even if it is printed in black. The package, like consistency tests, is especially relevant for synesthesia research but may be of use to others researching color experiences. Yet others might be interested in how the package utilizes the DBSCAN clustering algorithm to evaluate variation in 3D space point coordinates. You can learn more in an article just published in Behavior Research Methods, "synr: An R package for handling synesthesia consistency test data": https://rdcu.be/cZrrh [1] The package itself also includes comprehensive vignettes explaining its use. CRAN link: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/synr/index.html [2] Issue reports and contributions are very welcome on GitHub: https://github.com/datalowe/synr [3] I've also created a GitHub page with Packrat which includes nicely-formatted versions of the vignettes: https://datalowe.github.io/synr [4] I hope you'll find the package useful!
