Hello, I am using rbacon in Rstudio. I am plotting an age depth model with a mixture of radiocarbon ages (blue) and tephra (green).? From my understanding there should be the greatest confidence (least error) in accordance with my input data. This is not the case when I plot my data. There seems to be an offset between my tephra horizons and confidence. Is this a graphics issue or does this relate to some type of calibrate/correction? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This really doesn't seem to be a question about R... if it was, you probably would have included a reproducible code and sample data set. But from what it looks like you don't even have a problem with R... it is most likely a statistical question about your analysis, for which you should be looking to people familiar with your problem domain or the specific contributed packages you are using. Without seeing your code and the various potential parameters you can set, it is
really hard to say. BACON is a nifty age-depth modelling program, but the devil
can be in the details. It would also help knowing the data also.
