Dear All, Is there a method to detect the computer's drives? That would include USB sticks, when they are recognised by the operating system. I believe to have read somewhere it's possible, but I am unable to find that message. That is very obviously OS-dependent amd would need to be wrapped conditional on the OS. In R you can test for _explicitly named_ directories and files, but not more. As such, the question is not appropriate for this forum. Dirk -- http://dirk.eddelbuettel.com | @eddelbuettel | edd at debian.org
