Hello, I try to install the R111 version for few days on my PC (on Windows NT), and every time the same problem : I start the rwin.exe application and a couple of seconds later, the install failed, and my PC is down. I must then swich it down and restart a new session. If someone has some help ... Do you mean rwinst.exe? That does work on lots of NT installations, but if you go back to the Web page you will find instructions for manual installation in the file ReadMe.rw1011.> install failed, and my PC is down. It turned out that the virus check program caused the problem. So turning off the virus check during installation would probably help. If you are not a system administrator and so you cannot turn off the virus checker try to install R manually but then DO NOT unpack `zero.dll' from the archive `rw1011b1'. Since `zero.dll' is in the demo folder, I guess this does not influence the way R works. At least it worked for me.
