Dear friends. Can anyone explain what is happening here ? I am told that no data entry editor is available in this version of R ? The example is not far from that shown in help(data.entry) ? Besides, could an empty spreadsheet entry be an option to start inputting data ? Not everything on every help page works in every port of R. We would like to add data entry to the Windows version, but doing so without going way outside the Windows look-and-feel seems difficult without using proprietary M$ code (as is used in Excel, for example). If anyone knows better, please tell us how to do it (or contribute the code). Brian Ripley -- Brian D.
