Our university administration, in accordance with State and Federal law, have
begun collecting VPATs with WCAG 2.1/2.2

https://www.wcag.com/solutions/vpat-accessibility-documentation/) for the
software we use in the Library (primarily public-use, but faculty as well), and
will be mandatory by April 2026 to conform to Section 508
(https://www.section508.gov/).
We would like to continue including R in our public image, but without a VPAT we
will have no choice but to remove it before April 2026. We are contacting you in
hopes that this is something that your company could provide in the near future,
as no doubt other educational and public institutions have or will soon have the
same requirements for their software.
