?attr declares base:attr as
     attr(x, which)
     attr(x, which) <- value
The following text under "Value", however, says:
     The first form first looks for an exact match 
     to 'code' amongst the attributed of 'x'
This has two errors:
- 'code' should be 'which'
- 'attributed' should be 'attributes'
